Mulch is a very important part of every healthy garden, but it is often forgotten about because of how much effort it can take to get to its final position on top of your yard. Mulch is used for two main functional reasons: to add nutrients to your garden and to stop weeds from growing freely. This first point is contingent on mulch not being dried out and old, as the older mulch gets, the less nutritional value it provides to the soil and plants that surround it. By getting a mulch delivery every six months or so, you avoid the risk of stale mulch becoming not much more than just kindling. This can be due to rain, strong winds, the incline of your garden and even animal activity. It is hard to keep a regular-sized garden looking healthy and vibrant, let alone one that is several hectares big.
